The moon known as Akginzaa is the commercial hub, research center, and layover destination of the star system bestowing its name.

On first viewing it is merely a frozen ice rock orbiting the system's third planet: a small gas giant creatively named Akginzaa 3. The surface of the moon boasts a combination of dangerous flora and fauna, hazardous terrain, and persistent sub-zero temperatures. All together this makes life for everyone who lives, works, or visits exceptionally risky. But, beyond this danger it is also richly exploitable and more than a little exciting.

Some time ago during the initial scientific research and survey expeditions, a seemingly infinite number of vast interconnected caves and underground seas were discovered deep beneath the moon’s thick icy surface. Valuable minerals and curious life thrive within this subterranean maze. This discovery, combined with the surface ecosystems, caused an exponential growth of several interested parties to the small system.

Arriving factions such as the daring independent mining operations looking to strike big, and bespoke tourism groups aiming to maximize profits, joined the scientific teams all working toward their own selfish objectives. All the while openly ignoring the dangers and consequences which only further complicate life for everyone on and above the moon, and across the entire Akginzaa star system.

The Akginzaa Star System pamphlet is designed for DEATH IN SPACE (and can also be used as an adventure location for other sci-fi tabletop RPGs).

Included in the tri-fold sheet is a map of the star system's planets and moons, a few faction briefs, four notable locations found on the moon, and five adventure hooks to get started. Details of the star system planets are concise, but flavorful, and referees can easily include this into their games as the main location for an adventure or a stopover mission site in an ongoing campaign.
